This class meets in room 107. Going from the sanctuary take the first hall to the left (after class 105). This class takes its name from Ecclesiastes 7:25: “So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things.” They take a short passage of scripture and discuss how we can apply it to our lives. It is a way to hone in on one or two major ways the scripture applies to our lives. It is open to people of all ages and includes open discussion where everyone can contribute their ideas. This Class meets in room 105 in the main hallway. This class consist mostly of persons who are 50+ who come from a variety of religious backgrounds and are seeking to more fully understand what it means to be a follower of Christ in the 21st century. They are in no hurry to get through a book of the Bible as they want to thoroughly discuss all the questions presented as they relate to the Scripture and daily living. They are currently studying a series by Adam Hamilton entitled “Why: Making Sense of God’s Will.“ The study addresses such questions as, Where is God when tragedy and suffering strike? and If God is all powerful, and if each one of us is a beloved child of God, then how can God allow tragedy and suffering to mar his creation? For more information, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
